Round 4 of the Nulon Nationals 2017 wrapped up just before midnight 29 September. It was an epic night of roll racing, car displays, DJs and motorkhana put on by Nulon, RTDC and The Lowdown.
The BMW Drivers team of Mark Boudib, Adam Laura, Alex Wong and Brandon Cheng were able to take an equal 1st place with SAU for the round which was enough to cement our place as the Club Challenge overall winners for the 2017 series!
A massive thanks goes out to Chris Dawes and the whole team at Nulon, Gavin from RTDC, all of the clubs who participated, and all of the countless volunteers who make this amazing series what it is.
Last but not least, a big thank you to all of the club members who participated as part of our club team throughout the series.
This is the first year that we have entered the Nulon Nationals. It is a multi-club challenge hosted by Nulon with 14 clubs entered promoting grassroots motorsports across 4 different disciplines with the first being the Motorkhana round at Sydney Motorsport Park where we placed a close equal fourth and the second round being a Hill Climb at Mount Panorama in May where we again placed equal fourth. These two strong showings have been enough to thrust us up into a very close 2nd position. Round 3 at Sydney Motorsport park on 15 July saw our team come equal first and this has move us up into the leading position but only just. Great work team. We succeeded in Round 4.
