BMW Club Photo Competition - Entries required now.
I now have 25 entries in the photo competition from 8 photographers. You have until the weekend (4th September) to email your entries to me. For those who have not caught up with this competition, BMW Clubs International Council will be publishing a 2012 calendar for world distribution. We have the opportunity to submit entries for BMW Clubs Australia to select to be on Australia’s Month.
There are four categories with one photo for each:
1. BMWs in Motion - the emphasis here is that the BMW is moving - round a corner, on the track etc
2. BMWs at Rest - namely the BMW in question is stationery and posed against a backdrop, scenery, views or whatever
3. BMWs and Club Life - depicting BMWs (multiple or singular) in a club setting of some type (e.g. display, Show of Excellence, Rally)
4. BMWs as Art - let your imagination run free. A funky angle, special lighting etc. The only stipulation relates to good taste
The final format of each month's photo display will be at the discretion of the Council Board/BMW Classic. Each successful contributor will receive a calendar. We will receive copies for distribution.
All photographs submitted to your committee will be displayed in Gallery on our website and forwarded to our editor for possible reproduction in Torque of the Town. Photographers, please get those photos to
