BMWDC Melbourne have invited us to attend their annual German Auto Show at Sandown Racecourse and we've decided to run a social weekend event to coincide with the show.
Please view the itinerary attachment for specific event details. On the first night we will be staying in Albury and the second and last night we will be staying in Clayton as it very close to the Auto Show venue, and has lots of great attractions, accommodation and restaurants in the nearby area. You may wish to convoy down with us and stay somewhere else, you will however need to advise Ash the specific activities you wish to be included in for booking purposes.

ACCOMMODATION (Ash will email all registrants links and codes to book accommodation at discounted rates)
Friday - Mantra Albury - Modern and central accommodation.
Saturday & Sunday - Park Royal Hotel Monash (Approx 12mins drive from Sandown Raceway), this hotel is brand new and has beautiful modern rooms. They have offered us excellent rates for our stay.
CAR SHOW REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL. Follow the link below to register and pay the $10 fee.
COMMUNICATION - We encourage all attendees to download WhatsApp to be included in the attendee group and receive updates. We also encourage attendees to bring their own CB radio, no less than 5 watts, as the club will no longer provide the 2 watt radios, the range is simply not good enough on regional trips.
We will be stopping in the Yarra for lunch which has some great attractions including a chocolate factory, cheese factory, restaurants, wineries and boutique shopping. All activities will be optional, however it is essential that you advise at the time of booking which activities/meals you wish to participate in.
This is an event for our members only. Registration is essential and registrants are responsible for booking their own accommodation directly. Please also note that since many of the accomodation and dining venues have a double COVID vaccination requirement, the event is only open to those who are fully vaccinated.
