This event was sold out on 24/8/2020. Please email Alex. < email@example.com > if you wish to put your name on the waiting list. All brands of vehicles and competitors are welcome with preference for BMWs and members of our club, BMWDCNSW.
This is Round 4 of our Motorkhana Championship for 2020. We are running this MotorKhana under AASA Permit No. AASA200920-BMW7213.
We have special approval from AASA to run under our usual Non-Speed Event rules. Helmets and long sleeved clothing is strongly recommended but helmets are not required, only enclosed shoes, a t-shirt and shorts at a minimum.
You will require a valid AASA Licence or as member of a Motorsport Australia affiliated club such as ours a Motorsport Australia L2NS (at a minimum).
Spectators will be allowed at this event however MUST pre-register to be allowed entry to the event. There is a cap of 10 spectators in total. If their name is not on the list they will not be allowed. Passengers will only be allowed if they live in the same address as the driver. If you wish to register a passenger, you MUST provide me with proof of their address and your address and I will provide them with a wristband on the day. There are AASA Disclaimers for Drivers as well as AASA Indemnity Forms for adult passengers and passengers under 18.
Due to COVID-19, there are some special requirements in order for this event to comply with the latest NSW Government Public Health Order and Motorsport Australia/AASA guidelines.
Please email me with the following documents;:
• If you are not a member of BMW Drivers Club NSW we require a photo/scan of your CAMS/Motorsport Australia affiliated club membership card or a screenshot of proof of membership
• A photo or screenshot of proof of your CAMS/Motorsport Australia L2NS/L2S Licence or AASA Club Licence including expiry date.
• A completed Self Scrutineering Form (attached)
• A competed AASA Driver Disclaimer (attached) or if necessary and appropriate Passenger Indemnity Form for your passenger.
Please send these to me ASAP and be advised that if not received by COB Thursday 17/8/20 you will not be able to attend or compete at the event.
In order to reduce the physical contact, all attendees will be separated into groups of no more than 14 people and assigned an area to park and to stay within for the duration of the event (except for toilet breaks, food etc). As most of these areas will be without shade or seating, I would suggest bringing something to sit on and a portable shade/shelter and/or a hat just in case. It is possible that the cafe will not be open so it is recommended to bring your own food if possible.
There will be no usual driver sign on or scrutineering and as a result each competitor will be required to clearly mark their own vehicle with their competition number with tape on both sides of the vehicle themselves. (Painters tape or vinyl tape is recommended but will not be provided on the day). I will confirm car numbers in another email prior to Saturday. Attendees will also be required to bring their own copies of the Motorkhana tests. These will be provided in a later email with the competition number list.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
If you were successful in registering that means you are interested in learning about precision car control in a fun and/or competitive environment. In car instructors are normally provided at our events however due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no in-car instruction however socially distanced instruction will still be provided.
