Amaroo is a challenging, exciting twisty 1.8KM long counter-clockwise circuit. It is an ideal place to give that BMW a run on a race circuit. If you have not tried it then this is your opportunity. Supersprinting is timed motorsport and not door handle to door handle racing.
There is an Introduction to Supersprinting paper that may give you some clues on how we run Supersprints and a whole website section with rules and results.
To make our Motorsport more interesting, we run an annual Supersprint Championship with trophies warded at our annual dinner. If you are entering this competition then you need to read the rules and submit an Annex C form describing your car. If you modify your car or change it in some way then you need to submit a new Annex C form.
We have a set of car numbers issued. Please use the number issued for your car. If you don't have a number please choose a 2 or 3 digit number that is not already used. If you have a favorite number you may be able to negotiate for the use of that number. Good luck.
We do need volunteer Flag Marshals. You don't need to be experienced as a Flag Marshal as we will be providing a full briefing. Flag Marshals have a set of flags and a two way radio and a position right on track side in a great position around the track to view all the action. The radio transceiver keeps you in touch with the Race Controller and the other Flag Marshals so that you can report incidents in your area. At lunch time, lunch is supplied and if you want you can have a few laps in the passenger's seat of a Supersprint car driven by an experienced driver. If you are a driver in our competition then you receive competition points for volunteering as a Flag Marshal. If you can help, please contact Bob by email, firstname.lastname@example.org
Entries close on 9/8/2019.
Cost: $ 250.00
