Join in for the annual Winter Historics Drive and (optional) overnight getaway to the beautiful Blue Mountains!
Take the cover off your historic vehicle, stretch it's legs, and enjoy a scenic drive on great roads with sweeping corners through the Blue Mountains (or alternatively bring your classic or modern BMW, all our members are welcome).
This event provides two ticket options:
- Day attendance only - Social Drive & casual lunch
- Full event attendance - Social Drive, casual lunch, and special Christmas in July Dinner, staying in Mount Victoria.
Route details: We will meet on the Saturday morning in South Western Sydney and head to the Blue Mountains (exact route yet TBC). Our end destination for our casual lunch will be at a nice bakery. If you wish to take the getaway option, keep reading.
GETAWAY DETAILS
Following the casual lunch with the full group, we will explore some of what the Blue Mountains has to offer before checking into our accommodation.
Dinner will be at the Victoria & Albert Guesthouse and will be a beautiful traditional Christmas feast for $75pp.
The hotel will have the fireplace going and beautiful christmas decorations and trees. There will be a bar for you to purchase drinks from.
The next morning, choose from either a continental breakfast, a full breakfast, or a pastry and coffee from their onsite cafe. Enjoy something in the gorgeous atrium with the group before we leave the accommodation.
Accommodation options
A number of rooms have been reserved at both of the below hotels in Mount Victoria due to the likely popularity of the event. Don't stress if you cannot see rooms available online on the date of our stay.
IMPORTANT - Please book your accommodation at the same time as registration to avoid disappointment. Further, please consider which hotel suits you best as some rooms have a shared bathroom in the Victoria & Albert Hotel.

Weather:
Important - Bring your winter woolies, it will be chilly at this time of year! They will have the fireplace roaring and additional heaters in the barn.
Important notes:
- The exact meet location (in Western Sydney) and time will be provided to registered attendees one week prior to the event.
- 5 watt CB UHF radios are highly recommended for use, so drivers are aware of upcoming turns and potential hazards. The club will offer a few radios on the day for loan, however we recommend our regular attendees purchase their own.
- Cancellations and refunds - Must be made within 14 days prior to the event to secure a refund as the club need to pay the venue in advance for meals. Cancellations can be made through the event via your login on the club website. This will allow someone who is on the waitlist to join us on the drive.
- Tail-end-charlie - If you are happy to follow up the rear of the convoy to keep everyone together, please email Ash. Otherwise she will take nominations at the driver briefing.
