Join the Action: Passengers & Volunteers

Not ready to get behind the wheel just yet? You can still be part of the excitement at our Sydney Motorsport Park events! Whether you want to feel the G-forces from the passenger seat or help us run the show behind the scenes, we would love to have you.

Become a Passenger (Free Registration)

Experience Motorkhana from the inside! This is the perfect way to see what the sport is all about before you decide to drive.

  • How it works: Once registered, simply ask a competitor on the day for permission to hop into their vehicle for a run.

  • Requirements:

    • Attire: You must wear enclosed footwear and a minimum of a T-shirt and shorts.

    • Safety: For your safety, all limbs must remain within the confines of the vehicle at all times.

    • Paperwork: All passengers must have completed a Passenger Ride Entry Form and uploaded it when registering for their ticket.

  • Note: Current event competitors do not need to register separately as a passenger.

Volunteer with the Club (Free Lunch Included!)

Our events rely on our fantastic volunteers, and we make sure they are well looked after. It’s a great way to get a "front-row seat" to the action while supporting the motorsport community.

  • The Roles: Assisting with course setup (placing cones) and timing the competitor runs.

  • The Perks: The club provides a free hot lunch, snacks, drinks, shade and sunscreen throughout the day for all volunteers.

  • Timing: Please arrive at the Sydney Motorsport Park Skidpan at 7:15 AM to assist with the morning setup.

  • Multi-tasking: Volunteers are welcome to be competitors as well! You can help with event proceedings when you aren't driving.

  • Attire: Weather appropriate attire and waterproof footwear is strongly recommended as the skidpan has plenty of standing water on it.
